Aluminium Enclosures

Very robust, corrosion-resistant, dust- and waterproof housing made of aluminum in industrial quality for areas of application with the highest requirements. Very often used as a terminal housing / terminal box or distributor housing. With a very high protection class up to IP68, the sensitive components are protected from environmental influences. GBA aluminum housings are available in 36 different sizes as empty housings or machined and equipped (customer-specific) terminal housings. Our aluminum housings are RoHS and REACH compliant.

We manufacture industrial enclosures including control cabinets, junction boxes, HMI and operator enclosures, Ex-certified solutions, and fully customized OEM designs.

Industrial enclosures are available in ABS, polycarbonate, aluminum, GRP (glass-reinforced polyester), and stainless steel. Material selection depends on environmental exposure, mechanical load, corrosion resistance, and industry requirements.

ABS and polycarbonate enclosures are available with IP54 or IP55 protection. Aluminum and GRP enclosures are supplied with IP66 as standard, with IP67 or IP68 possible depending on design and sealing concept. Stainless steel enclosures can be supplied up to IP69K for hygienic and wash-down environments. The achieved IP rating applies to the fully assembled enclosure and must be verified per configuration

Industrial enclosures can be designed to support electromagnetic compatibility requirements. EMC-relevant measures may include conductive materials, EMC sealing concepts, defined grounding points, and shielded cable entry systems.
